What people are saying about Vacation Bible Camp at Our Lady of Peace:

"Can we just have OLP VBC all summer long?!! The kids and counselors are having so much fun and learning so much. Last night’s family night, was extra special! As a new OLP family that started during the pandemic, it was so great to meet school friends of the kids, their parents, new neighbors, and the amazing camp staff."

- Shannon

"This is a wonderful week for our children, an opportunity to see friends from school, to learn and play and pray together, to celebrate the blessings of our loving God, and to be outspokenly faithful. Watching our children sing and praise with each other and so many other children is so beautiful and a true gift."

VBC Crafts 2023

Why should I send my child to Vacation Bible Camp (VBC) at Our Lady of Peace?

Vacation Bible Camp is an opportunity for youth of all ages (PreK-12th grade) to spend a week together having fun, growing in their faith, and forming friendships

What should I expect when my child comes to VBC at OLP?

At VBC, we want to help children into a closer relationship with the God who loves them, in ways that capture their hearts and imaginations.

In the morning we'll play games, make crafts, interact with Bible stories and Bible Characters, sing and dance, and so much more!

In the afternoon youth leaving 3rd through 12th grade are invited to join us for field trips!

What does a typical day look like at VBC?

VBC is a busy day!

We start off each morning in a large group; hearing our theme for the day, learning about a Saint, dancing and singing songs, and starting out with prayer.

Each day we’ll break into small groups (based on age) to hear stories about Bible Characters, play games, do crafts, sing songs, and have a tasty snack!

We close out our morning by coming together once more to share what we’ve learned and celebrate God’s love for us.

Youth leaving grades 2-12 are invited to join us for fun field trips in the afternoon!

My child is a middle/high school student. What is there for them?

This is where the magic happens!

Middle school and High school students join us as leaders who help to make all of the amazing things at VBC come to life.

We ask leaders to tell us about what they loved about VBC or what they’re good at and put them in stations that suit their talents and interests.

Without youth leaders, we wouldn’t be able to make this important community event happen.

Middle School and High School students interested in getting involved with VBC at OLP can fill out the registration form at the top or bottom of this page.

High school students interested in being on the Core team can contact Jocelyn Johnson (or Michaela Swarthout) for more information.
