About OLP's School Ministry
OLP offers a rock solid education and formation immersed in the Catholic tradition. Our school is rooted in the life of a vibrant, solid, neighborhood parish community deeply committed to the Gospel and to ministry. We are second to none.
We offer a rigorous excellent curriculum in Science, Language Arts, Social Studies and Religious Studies. The curriculum also includes a full complement of enrichment classes in Spanish, Art, Physical Education and Music for all students K-8.
We are careful to nurture responsible student conduct based in the Gospel call to honor the God-given dignity of all human persons.

The average student-faculty ratio is 20:1. Average length of employment is 8 years. More than 35% of our faculty members hold their masters degree or equivalent. |
Class Size |
Our Lady of Peace will attemp to maintain a class size of 25 children. Under special circumstances and at the discretion of the Principal, a class may accommodate a 26th student. |

Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Math and Religious Studies are the Core Curriculum. Learning is project-based with regular student exhibitions. |

Spanish, Art, Music, Physical Education at all grade levels. |

Full time Learning Specialist works with students of varied abilities to improve or enhance academic performance. |
Middle School |
Grades 5-8
Students have an individual advocate/adviser for academic and personal development
Student receive an interdisciplinary education with a focus toward relevance outside the classroom
Student evaluation is based on a set of clearly articulated standards |

Education grants are awarded to parish members on the basis of financial need. Recommendations are made using an independent aid application process. |
