Mothers and Others

Mothers and Others serve Our Lady of Peace by providing a forum in which the mothers and caregivers of our parish may share their faith, build on family-to-family networks, respond to the needs of the church, and reach out to the communityaround us.

We meet every other Thursday morning at the church.   Childcare is provided.   Our time is spent in sharing our faith and in supporting each other in spiritual growth and in rearing our children in the Faith.

We also provide family-to-family support in our group and in the parish by providing housework, meals, shopping, and childcare for the ill and families in crisis, by welcoming newcomers and connecting them with other mothers and by providing a forum for sharing experiences and supporting each other in marriage and family life

We also respond to the needs of the church and community by encouraging individual volunteering, supporting the Fall Festival, hosting hospitality after mass and by supporting and helping families in crisis in the community.
