RELIGIOUS FORMATION

Evangelization
The Evangelization Initiative is similar to Small Christian Community in that persons gather for faith sharing, prayer and discussion. It is different in that Small Christian Communities regularly gather throughout the year to break open the Scriptures for the upcoming or past Sunday. The Evangelization Initiative offers a discussion format that constantly asks participants to ponder : “Who is Jesus in my life and does believing in Jesus make a difference in the way I live my life?” It is offered across the diocese and was originally designed so that participants would meet for six weeks during the Lenten season. Each year has a focus that builds off the previous year's experience.

Couples Faith Sharing Group
Small Faith Sharing Group Invites couples to join their group.
We are a small group of married couples who meet in homes every 2 to 3 Sunday evenings, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, on a Sunday convenient to all, (no set schedule). We jointly choose our discussion topics, and are presently reading, discussing, and praying about a book on how praising God changes our lives. In the past, we have done Bible study, and have decided that our next topic will be a book on marriage. We would welcome new members.
