For anyone from 12 to 17 years of age.

Confirmation marks a renewed beginning in the Christian life.    Consequently, rather than celebrating it within a particular grade level, we are looking to the readiness of the person who is approaching the sacrament.

Thus, anyone from age 12 and beyond who would like to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation this spring is invited to begin preparation and celebrate the sacrament. Preparation for this sacrament will focus on participation in Eucharist, prayer and faith sharing that moves the Confirmation candidates to become more attentive to their own religious experiences and to the life of the church as community.

Note • Participation in Religious Education classes is not a necessity for Confirmation. If, however, a young person would like to learn more about the Catholic Tradition, check the section on 'Deepening our Faith' for a schedule of class times.
