First Eucharist

Children

Preparation is family-centered with intergenerational sessions planned to enrich your family's experience of the Sacrament. We emphasize that the most important part of First Eucharist preparation is participation in Sunday Eucharist on a regular basis.

Families are offered tools to assist them in sharing their stories of faith, enriching their experience of the meal, celebrating together at Eucharist. Children are also provided with some instruction within the School Ministry and evening Religious Education classes.

Materials are available for those who home school.

Who

Usually children in the 2nd grade, however, parents may elect to prepare at an earlier or later age.
