I did not lioke that he did not complete the 10 things on his list. I liked how he was trying to run off with his best friend's girlfriend. A quick, fun book to read!

I also liked the ideas doe what you could do with the lunches if you don't eat them, like use the meatballs to play sports or use the mashed potatoes to build scupltures. The book didn't really have any bad parts but I would still just say it was okay

2nd Grader	Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw	Jeff Kinney	216	I Liked the Book	Because it was the second-funniest of the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” books. One funny part was when Greg Heffley was talking to God about how God never saw the good things he did and God said "sorry, I must have missed that." Another funny part was when Greg's brother wanted his sandwich cut in four parts instead of two so his mom had to drive all the way from work to cut it in half for him. I also liked when Greg was a Cub Scout and he was being so serious about it. I thought it was funny about all the weird bumper stickers on his mom's car, like "My Child is a graduate of TenderCuddles Preschool."

Mrs. Hoben	Fat Kid Rules the World	K.L. Going	183	I Liked the Book	I love this author. She is a great author for 7th and 8th graders. This is a book about Troy a 6'1" 296 pound boy. Troy has struggled since his mom died and finds a new life for himself when he befriends a very unusual homeless boy.
4th Grader	Flatfoot Fox and the Case of the Missing Eye	Eth Clifford	47	I Liked the Book	There are lots of mysteries. Theu are kind of funny. Flatfoot Fox's assistant is a bird named Security Bird.
4th Grader	Flatfoot Fox and the Case of the Nosy Otter	Eth Clifford	47	I Liked the Book	An otter was named Mrs. Chatterbox. She talked a lot so Flatfoot Fox and Security Bird had to wear ear muffs.

I think Lockhart is very funny the way he is full of himself. I was stumped when the phoenix brought Harry the sorting hat in the final fight, but it came out to help him in the end and I thought it was inventive.

5th Grader	King Solomon's Mine	H. Rider Haggard	239	I Liked the Book	I liked how the men defeated King and his army with some of the King's own men. I liked how the witch doctor betrayed the white men and trapped them in King Solomon's mine. I liked how they taught some of the other men to shoot rifles
Mrs. Riehm	Lawn Boy	Guy Paulsen	96	I Liked the Book	This was a fabulous book! It has a captivating plot about a boy looking to earn money by mowing lawns, but quickly gets to be a little more than he can handle. I laughed out loud on many occassions! A must read!

Set on the oceanshores, Lily's Crossing is the story of an unlikely summer friendship during World War II. The main character is quite spunky and keeps you on your toes with her decisions. I loved Lily's Crossing!

I loved how a star came down from the sky and it was a little girl who came to visit Mary Poppins. It was just so full of magic.
6th Grader	Matilda	Roald Dahl	240	I Liked the Book	It shows how even if you can't talk to your parents about something you will always be able to find someone to talk to. It also reminded me that if you set your mind to something you can do it even if you don't think you can. I liked how they described each and every person it made it just pop into my head what they look like. This book also caught my attention very quickly and kept it through the whole book and it was different from the movie.

8th Grader	Oh. My. Gods	Tera Lynn Childs	??	I Liked the Book	I liked this book because it involved the Greek Gods. I liked that it also included sports. I liked how the groups were separated by which god or goddes was their parents.

4th Grader	Pokemon Battle Dimension: The Secret of the Tower	Simcha Whitehill	32	I Liked the Book	Ash and his friends were playing the hit a tower and Spirit Doom was hidden in the tower. It was fun to learn what happened next. Ash and his friends had to put Spirit Doom back in the tower because he was dangerous. He was dangerous because he destroyed everything in his path.
4th Grader	Pokemon Battle Frontier: Celebi Rescue	Tracey West	46	I Liked the Book	Pikachu ran off to help Celebi. A Pkemon ranger helped Ash and his friends find Pikachu. The book was entertaining.
2nd Grader	Pompeii Buried Alive!!	Edith Kunhardt	48	I Liked the Book	I really liked this book because it is cool but scary to think about how a volcano can erupt and ash and hot lava can completely bury a town in two days. I would like to visit Pompeii someday

It was very interesting to see how people treated a kid that had been living like it was still the 60's and had never been in the real world. It was amazing to see how people changed once they started to get to know the hippie. It was kind of strange that they went back to the town where they lived like the 60's after he had already seen the real world. It was kind of fun to read!!

As the first book in the series, Stormbreaker pulls you into the life of Alex Rider, 14 year old boy working as a spy for the Britich M16 (like our CIA). This book is fast paced and a great read!

I like Nero the Vice Principal he was mean and he mimicked students and made unfair decisions. I like how Violet and Klaus solved their problem with homework with help from their friends Isabella and Duncan.

It ended the way every books should end--with the problme resolved. The main character realized something about life that will help her in her life.

I do not think it was written very well and did not like the authors chioce of words. I liked the Headless Horseman better
