Cash for Trash

Cash for Trash is a combination of many corporate-sponsored programs that give our school money when we turn in items that would have otherwise gone in the garbage.    Read more in our Overview and FAQ document.

Reference Collection List

As a reference of all items that Our Lady of Peace collects, download the Collection List. It lists products by programs below. The list makes it easy to see what products will have labels to remove and save.

Campbell's Soup Label Changes

Campbell's has changed what they are asking us to collect:

  • Campbell's Soup, Spaghetti O's, Swanson broth, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, etc. - The front part of the can is no longer accepted.   Instead, the UPC is required.   Some cans have the new label, worth 1 or 5 points. If your can does not, still save the UPC.
  • V8 Juices - save the cap.
  • Prego Pasta Sauces - save the lid.

Box Top Adds More Products and More Bonuses

There are a number of new products and brands with Box Tops on.   Keep your eyes open, here is just a sampling:

  • Huggies diapers!
  • Goodnites and Pull-Ups
  • Scott towels
  • Depend, Kotex and Poise products
  • Cottonelle bath tissues, flushable wipes
  • Ziploc bags and containers
  • Saran wraps
  • Wanchai Ferry dinner kits

Need something to add a little POP to your lunches?   Try the new Fizzix yogurts.   It's a Go-Gurts with pop rocks in it!   And save the Box Top!

DVDs, iPods, Video Systems and Games Added

Cartridges for Kids is now paying for used:

  • DVD movies - up to 50 cents each
  • iPods
  • Digital cameras
  • Video systems and games such as GameBoy color, Nintendo and Xbox
